One of the most famous traditional Irish songs ever, this number is much covered drinking song, straight out of Irish pubs and steeped in Irish history. This version was performed on accordion, acoustic guitars, Irish fiddle and Irish flute (tin whistle, penny whistle). Crowd hand clapping joins about half way in. "Jolly, hell bent and spiteful" would probably be a good description of this piece of Irish music.
