We respect your privacy and we pay particular attention to the protection of your personal data.
Protection of personal data is provided in accordance of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679.
Users may use Soundimage Website without providing their personal data, except IP address which is collected automatically (for example in case of downloading of a demo track)
Customers provide their personal data in order to register Customer account by filling registration form or / contact form and are informed that account registration results of collecting and processing their personal data. Before completing the registration Customers may decide if they give their consent to the processing of their personal data or not.

PURPOSE OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
The personal data of Users and Customers of Soundimage are processed due to following reasons:
- provisions of Soundimage services, selling of Soundimage products,
- marketing reasons (in e.g. if you signed up for our newsletter)
- contact reasons (in e.g. if you use our contact form or contact us by e-mail)
- financial and law reasons, in particular issuing variety of documents related to purchase on our website (in e.g. invoices, license certificates and agreements)
TYPE OF COLLECTED DATA
In respect of privacy of our Users and Customers we collect only data which is necessary for certain purpose of its processing.
If you sign up for individual Customer account we need to collect and process following data: name, surname, full address data (country, city, zip code, street with number), email address, phone number, IP number (which is collected automatically), password (encrypted).
If you sign up for company Customer account in addition to above we need to collect and process following data: company name, VAT number (in applicable).
If you use contact form we process following data: email address, name, surname and phone number.
We also collect your order and purchase history, downloaded files (including demo files) together with your IP address for security reasons.
During process of Customer account registration we may ask for your consent to provide your answers to a few questions, in form of a short poll, which will allow us to prepare our offer better in terms of your needs, in e.g. make those of our products, which maybe more interesting to you, more visible and expose less those of our products which may be not that interesting to you. This process is only in order to suit our offer to your needs. This data is used internally by us and is not passed to any unauthorized third party.
PERIOD OF DATA PROCESSING
Your data will be processed during entire period of providing of our services and sometimes after it, but only in a scope which is necessary and allowed by the law regulations (i.e. processing due to financial reasons, claims etc). In this case your data will be processed only during the period which is necessary in order to complete the reason of data processing.
In case of concluding an agreement between you and us, in particular License Agreement, your personal data will be processed during entire period of such agreement and even after during the period necessary to protection and defense of the copyrights.
PROVIDING YOUR PERSONAL DATA TO OTHERS
Your data may be provided to other Parties (here after referred to as “Data Processors”) which may process your personal data on behalf of Data Controller, In particular IT companies, hosting companies and Internet services providers, marketing agencies (i.e. in case of newsletter mailings), accounting companies, third party companies which deliver on-line payment services for us. Also to companies which provides us with infrastructural services, advertising services, analytical services and companies providing personalization and optimization of our website. Data Processors are allowed to process your data only according to the precise Data Controller's instructions and on behalf of agreements concluded with Data Controller.
We would like to inform you that current law regulations grant following rights to you:
- Right of access to the data which means the right to know whether data concerning you are being processed and, if so, access it with loads of additional stipulations (GDPR Article 15)
- The right to rectification. When personal data are inaccurate you can require to correct them indeed (GDPR Article 16)
- The right to erasure or right to be forgotten
- The data subject right to restriction of processing
- The right to data portability
- The right to object (processing based on legitimate interests, the performance of a task in the public interest or the exercise of official authority including profiling, direct marketing including profiling and processing for scientific/historic research or statistics)
- Rights relating to automated decision making and profiling (You have the right not to be subject to a decision when it is based on automated processing; and it produces a legal effect or a similarly significant effect on the individual)
